Our Favorite Climate Change Resources

  • Climate Action Plan for the Midlands Region: A  roadmap developed by the Central Midlands Council of Governments  to reduce greenhouse gas emissions that cause climate change within the region, which consists of six counties: Richland, Lexington, Kershaw, Fairfield, Calhoun and Saluda. Supported by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Climate Pollution Reduction Grant  Program, the plan outlines how local communities can reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHGs), improve air quality, strengthen the local economy and prepare for climate-related risks.
